Claire is the Director of Queensland Disability Worker Screening and has a career firmly grounded in the protection of vulnerable members of the community.
Starting out her career in government as a Child Safety Officer over sixteen years ago, Claire has since worked across several government and regulatory agencies responsible for overseeing and regulating service delivery to children and vulnerable members of the community here in Australia and in the United Kingdom.
This includes various leadership roles in complaints management and investigations, quality assurance, operations and now Disability Worker Screening.
Claire is passionate about upholding the rights and safeguards of people with disability in Queensland, while ensuring that the Disability Worker Screening process is as efficient as possible to minimise impacts on providers and clients.
